Paul Morphy was one of America's greatest chess players according to the two former world champions, Fischer and Botvinnik. I, personally, love the King's Gambit and I admire the incredible way Morphy played it.  Here's an example that shows how elegant the King's Gambit and Paul Morphy can be.
