I am a 70 year old senior citizen with a 1500 rating. I would like to become a chess master. I have a limited budget since my only income is from Social Security. If there is a chess master out there who is willing to donate his time to find out if its possible for a senior citizen to become a chess master please contact me. I have an IQ of 150 and was told when I was younger by a chess master that I do have the potential to become a master, myself, but I never followed up because I had to work for a living. Now that I am retired I would like to follow up but I am told someone of my age cannot become a chess master. Is there anyone out there who would like to prove them wrong and show the world that you can teach an old dog new tricks?
