And now, the Newb presents... for Cincinnati area players only

The Ohio Book Store at 726 Main in downtown Cincy made a purchase of a collection of chess books. This was several months ago. I don't look for chess books there very often because I was quite familiar with the two that they had.

This collection belonged to Nick Forte, of Newport, Ky, and includes mostly older books from the late 50s, early 60s. They're in good condition and Ohio Book's knows it. Most titles are priced from $15-$25. I've got pictures of the shelves in case you spot something you've been looking for.

They've got signed books by Fischer and Marshall in the display case in the center of the store. Both go for $700+.

I've bought about a half dozen of Nick's collection, myself - including Nick's personal chess notes and I'd like to know more about him if anybody out there remembers him.
