I've taken the liberty of blogging the 'highlight' game from my latest tournament. It was quite an exciting game, both of us preparing quite well for the match. I've annotated it as best I can. Some postgame commentary by my opponent is also included. I've also included our Canadian Chess Federation ratings, although neither of us are accurately rated due to lack of tournament play and/or long breaks between tournaments.
c4, exc4, Nxc4, Bd6! ... now all black has to do is chase white's knight around and play (when safe) Be5!, winning white's queen. Of course there are ways to avoid this but black is in a good spot here.
what is the tactical explosion with 20. c4?
Fixed! thanks :)
Nice game... How is 16... Bh4 possible?
