Can someone please explain how tie-break points are awarded/accumulated ?

 I have won 2 games, ( & lost 4 so far), but only have 5.5 'tie-break'points, whilst some other players who have won 2 games so far , have 6, 5, 7, and even 10 'tie-break' points.lease explain !
