It's SuperMoon! Happens about once a year, when the moon is at perigee...the time of it's CLOSEST proximity to Earth, as it orbits our planet.
And it's going to be BIG and it's going to be BRIGHT! In fact, about 16% brighter than normal.
As an extra bonus...Ocean tides, both high AND low tides, will also be affected...up to 42% more force when compared to apogee (that point when the moon is FURTHEST from the Earth).
So Heads Up!!
