A pawn sacrifice that turned into a brilliant King sacrifice

Around move 12, I was trying to devise a way to trap and capture the Queen, but I didn't seem to have enough time.  I'd like to know if proper play would have enabled me to capture her, as well as at what point my positional advantage (if I had one at all) crumbled apart.

    Another 'checkmate', where mating pieces aren't really defended and therefore king should be able to capture that piece.
