i found the game interesting on a number of levels. i look at move twelve... taking with the king vs the knight. perhaps with the knight at  g-2 this would allow for some king side expansion, esp. on the f file. dbl up rooks etc after advance the f pawn to the fourth rank.. you would have a backwards pawn etc. just a thought.. Hey dude..hope your feeling well. Here's my two cents:

    27. Qe5 was innacurate....accomplishes nothing but allows opponent to chase queen away while targeting pawn on g3, and leading to

    28. Qh5+ also bad move, allows king free move to safety and then you are forced to move your queen AGAIN

I think 30 Rae was great....trade-offs favor you and you want control of the open file, but...

    31 d5 was a blunder and

32 Qg4, allowing a trade that also doubles your pawns, effectively evens the game when 2 moves ago you were up two points

Thats just my opinion...and I'll send ya the billTongue out

and boy am I glad that I NEVER make those mistakesFoot in mouth haha

I played this game last week and my opponents blitz rating was 2036 at the time. This was an interesting game and I'm glad to see I can go the distance with this new opening of mine. I think Rae1 was a mistake and lost the game because of it. Any ideas of what I should have done at this point? I definately lost in the endgame.

Well, I think that 25.Ne6 probably lost the advantage and 34.Rxf1 gave up a game winning tactic losing the exchange and then another pawn with 36...Bxf3. An interesting game.
