Wow! That is all I can say is wow!

I signed up for chess.com a couple of weeks ago, after a long hiatus from playing chess (more than 10 years), and decided that I was finally going to buckle down and really study the game.

I have been dilligently doing the daily puzzle, working with Chess Mentor, tactics training, and using the study plan for beginners; and I can see the difference!

The positions are finally starting to click in my head - I am seeing the lines! Today's win, is just another sign that the training is paying off.

I set myself a goal to study and improve to the point that I feel comfortable in playing at a local over the board tournament. I would love to say that I will be a good little student and write of my adventures and journey here in my blog, but I have said that about other things in the past and they never came to fruition.

I'll try to at least hit the high points - but for right now, I am simply stunned at the improvements I am whitnessing.
