My first successfull exchange sacrifice

This is a game I played against a much stronger player in a chess.com tournament... This is my first cool minded exchange sacrifice that happily went to a win. The game was crazy from the exchange until the end. Feel free to express your thoughts about it.

I have very little time to annotate, but I'll do my best:

    Why not 11. ... Bxh4. Don't you win a piece this way?

Maybe 15. ... Bh3 was better. White has to give back the exchange in order to not get checkmated and the f3 pawn will remain weak.

Couldn't white have played 23. Qxd7? It threatens Qxg7# and Kxg1, so you can't save your knight. Also 23. Qxd7 Qxe4+ 24. f3 doesn't work for black, so it seems like white missed a chance for a free piece there...

    Qf1+ is better then Qe1+ because of 35...Qe1+ 36.Kg2.

Well, when u got the the opponents king trapped in a corner, and u got a huge material advantage, start looking for mates =)

Nice... I actually saw Qe1+, I was quite nervous cause a few moves ago I was drawing... I guess I played for the secure...

Wow, what a great spanish!! Lovely... Thanks for the comment, let me translate for the other 95% of the members, lol

By the way, yeah, we call it "tablas" only in chess.

"Your sacrifice was well calculated because it destroyed the pawn formation that protected white's king. Your opponent should have concentrated in stopping your d pawn on move 28, that way the game could have ended in a draw. I guess panic took control of your opponent when he realized that it was too late to stopyour pawn. Good game."

Buena partida.
