Today, I`ll show you a small blog on "The Game of the Century". The players in the game were Fischer and Donald Byrne. Fischer was young at the time.
Here is the link on youtube:

Ok, then I guess people call it The Game Of The Century for no reason. My bad.
But since "Fischer's 60 Memorable Games" is much more accurate than "Chess Life" I belive that instead.
But, I don't wanna argue so i'm not going to post here anymore.

What I find fascinating is how people make facts up and then believe them because they come from such an impeccable source. It is a great game though but if you go through "My 60 Memorable Games" it's easy to see how Bobby "lost it in the shuffle" so to speak. In other words, I think there are many other games he played that are better even without a flashy Q-sac.
I dunno where to find it, I just know it's called "The Game Of The Century" from USCF Chess Life magazine and everyone calls it that now. If you don't belive me, you don't belive me and there's nothing I can do about that.
@NimzoRoy:Possibly - But, most modern day chess players call it "The Game Of The Century" for a reason...Samsch
Name 3 of them - hopefully GMs - along with citations of when & where they said it. Yes, many persons have called this "The Game of the Century" prior to the rise of Karpov, Kasparov, Anand, Kramnik etc. I'd also like to see a citation for "most modern chess players calling it "The Game of the Century"

It's a swell game but probably not "The Game of the Century" since Fischer did not include it in "My 60 Memorable Games" - but maybe it wasn't memorable to him.
Correct
Since Fischer was born on March 9,1943, This game must have been played in 1956
Yes, yes, it does.
This game involves the greatest sacrifice of all- a queen sacrifice done by a 13 year old Bobby Fischer.
I love this game :)
