Amazing save by Kasimdzhanov

Found this wonderful save by Kazimdzhanov in a game with Svidler in the 2005 wch in San Luis. The drawing idea is wonderful!

It was a perpetual, black was a rook down and had nothing better. If white had not played the right king move trying to win then he would have lost. But draw was correct result after the sacrifice.

That was a good save, but why didd Kasimdzhanov go for the whole draw thing, after he started winning?

I would like to add that say instead of Rd3 if white played Rd4 then black has Nc3+ resource if the king tries to run to d1 and then black pushes ...b2 I think. In any case a really amazing idea to come up with and only 2 minutes on the clock!

Well I was looking at it, i.e. found it in a book. This was played in the game and Kasim found this with 2 minutes left on the clock! I see now that it sounds like I found it but I didn't, only "found" this game so I don't want no credit for anything ;-)
