Same as normal Chess where the initial position changes. The pieces on the 1'st and 8'th row can be randomly placed.

A better move for black instead of 3...Nf6?? would be 3... Nxc4!, capturing the bishop, followed up by 4... g6, threatening the queen.

The last diagram is illegal in Fischer Random, both bishops are on the same coloured squares and the king is not between the rooks.
