The 3 move repetition occurs when the position as a whole is repeated three times. If this occurs in a chess game, it would be considered a draw if it is claimed.
almost everybody that knows chess knows that!!!!
is this applied to the chess.com games?
have claimed a draw with that 3 moves before, and my opponent was pissed, but there was no way, unless i blundered, that he could have won
It is unfortunate when one plays chess online they cannot call a draw without the opponent being in agreement. Everyone keeps telling me to hit the draw button, but I don't see a button for online chess playing that forces the 3 position draw. Am I missing something?? They refuse to discuss the situation in the chat, ignore you, and continuing making moves. One has no recourse but to continue the game to prevent a loss, and report the match.
Ha, I claimed this against my dad and he had a tantrum. I let him feel that he had won while knowing he hadn't achieved a valid victory.
How to claim it on chess.com?
