Un'associazione senza fini di lucro, si propone di diffondere il gioco degli scacchi e la cultura scacchistica nel territorio fiorentino ad ogni livello di età ed in ogni ambiente sociale.
In collaborazione con il Comune ed i Quartieri di Firenze realizza progetti formativi, momenti espositivi ed altre manifestazioni sul tema.
L'associazione è attenta anche agli aspetti sportivi del gioco: organizza tornei di scacchi e promuove la crescita agonistica dei giocatori inclassificati e neoclassificati.
