not bad at all.
It's usually $15.
this is great. i willl def. be there on the 17th and by the way whats the cost to join the tournament?
Yes. All rounds are on Monday nights.
Ok no problem ill def. will be there. One more question when i sign up for the tournament they are played on mondays only right?
Yeah. I would say come October 17. And bring cash so you can get the membership and then register for the tournament that will start then. Unfortunately our president hasn't put up the calendar yet on the website. He's working things out.
so then i shouldnt come this monday comming up right? since its the final round of the tournament.
Yes. Of course, it will be the final round of a tournament, so you won't get to play.
the club was closed this moday right? so i'll will have to wait for the monday coming up.
Great.
i live in Paterson so its not a problem for me to come.
Nice. Yes please come. It's important to play USCF rated games so you get a rating and see where you stand. The Bergen Chessmates has G/10 and G/90, depending on schedule. You can also always ask to play G/90 if someone else wants to. Where do you live?
Shuffleking74 thanks for all the info very much appreciated. just registered with USCF so ill will be visiting the chess club soon.
No need for equipment. Also, 7 pm is fine. We don't start play til about 8, but of course there is registration and just settling in at the place of course. $15 is for a yearly membership. And there's always tournament fees too. The website will tell you how much for the specific tournament.
do i have to bring any equiptment for turnaments. also do i just show up on a monday at 7pm and thats it or should i come earlier or something to sign up
$15 and uscf membership
