We are one of the oldest chess clubs in Britain. We welcome players of all abilities, whether you are just looking for a friendly game or wish to enter one of our internal club competitions! We now have five teams playing in the mid-Sussex League and each year many players enter various national and international competitions.

It's a good, friendly club boasting, yes, the bar on the ground floor. Managed to go on two occaisions, but havn't been back in Brighton since. But i hope to go soon and use up my last remaining free pass...
