There are monthly tourneys in Knoxville at the location above, and although Bereolos is a fantastic player, he does not have the GM title, he is an FM.

2) WKU Open April 16-17 2011 --- exciting tournament last year had GM, Im, 2xFM, many over 2000 Plus excellent facilities and great competition!

KGCC is a bunch of crackers and rednecks with one unlce tom that make up thier good old boy club...i wouldn't waste your time unless you feel you can fit in if not they will not really let you into thier club...

The Bluegrass State Games chess event will be held in Winchester, KY on July 16th.  Hope to see you there!  This event is open to all from Tennessee since you do not have state games (that I can find anyway).
