The Halifax Chess Club has been in existence for over 150 years. I t competes in the Calderdale Evening Chess League with teams of 5 players, playing on Monday nights during the season that starts in September and concludes in April. If players wish to play in the summer, they can be accomodated.
The Club needs some young blood! So come on all you local chess players who sit at home and play on the net, get down to your club and meet the guys.
