Sarasota/Venice Chess Club

The Sarasota/Venice Chess Club meets on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and some Saturdays.   All play begins at 12:30 pm and runs to 5:00pm.

12:30pm Mon. & Wed. at the Venice Island Library

6:30pm Tuesdays at Big E's Sweets and Gourmet, there is also a chess lecture at 7:00pm given weekly by Greg High.

12:30pm Fridays at Bay Indies Residences

12:30pm Fridays at the Sarasota Senior Friendship Center

Looks like most of you are in south sarasota! I'm in far north Sarasota so Venice is a hike for me. I could make the gulf gate location but it's only on saturday and I work every weekend ! So if there's any interest in a meet at the rout 70 library east of lockridge or even gulf gate on a Monday or Tuesday I would supply 5 boards and even clocks if you like. I am just getting back into playing again.
