Small private club containing the best players in the Suwanee area. Also has members from Alpharetta, Duluth, Buford, and Roswell. Currently 27 members. Not accepting new ones right now...we are changing some things, moving our meeting places, and breaking the club into small area groups.

NOTE: WE MAY CREATE A SEPARATE JUNIOR PLAYERS CLUB FOR PLAYERS <18 AND ELECT A JUNIOR FROM THE CURRENT CLUB TO BE THE LEADER OF THIS CLUB. THIS IDEA IS STILL DEVELOPING AND IT IS LIKELY THAT THE CLUB WILL BE MOVED TO 4 POSSIBLE LOCATIONS, LEAVING THE JUNIOR CLUB BY ITSELF.

2) WKU Open April 16-17 2011 --- exciting tournament last year had GM, Im, 2xFM, many over 2000 Plus excellent facilities and great competition!

hey im 22 just getting into chess seriously. although rough on openings, i am strong tactically, and enjoy long discussions about complex boards. had a group of guys in college who would sit around and discuss, but moved back home. lemme know if youre accepting, would love to collaborate. its not about the destination as much as the journey, i enjoy getting better much more than being the best. im no slouch though :). live in the alpharetta area. lemme know whats up.
