Unforuately the Springfield Chess club is not what it used to be back in the 80s and 90s. I really wish someone would take it over and restart and rebuild it to what it used to be. A really good club with lots of members and great chess players.

I think they are trying to do just that. I hope they are able to do it. We can use more chess in the area.
