We are mainly a scholastic teaching center, but we have adult tournaments every Tuesday and Friday evening with mixed children/adults on Sundays.

@ gcamaster - I'm a chess coach for the Chess Emporium and I can honestly say that you're "evaluation" couldn't be further from the truth.  We try to make a difference for these students and have no secret agenda to "keep uscf out of the picture."  I'm blessed to have a job where I can teach the game I love and help the kids develop their chess talent.  It would appear that the one with some sort of vendetta against the Chess Emporium is yourself and it would be greatly appreciated by myself, and I'm sure everyone else, if you could keep your ignorance to yourself.

Chess Emporium was a great place when I lived in Phoenix. I don't care what anyone says if you are in the Phoenix area you should check it out.
