    hi i am in the 1100 so ,i dont know if i am in the target range but i know the basic rules about chess but not good strategy i just memorise other people and try to use that

    @Joe: Been doing this for 13years now! Teachers do notice changes in kid's attitudes, intellect etc but its a gradual process. To get the very best results, chess instructors must be very well trained. 

    @Elike mattah: You can start it in Ghana! I'll be glad to help out in any way I can.

    I'd like to do this for an urban school near where I live. How long have you been at it, and do the teachers notice a difference in the kids attitudes? I am a believer in the benefits of chess.
