Just came to my attention by a chessplayer that reported to me.I have other Chess scholars not in UAAP(University Athletic Association of the Philippines) but also in The NCAA(National College Athletic Association)They are all in College.San Sebastian College.They are Arvie Jongko,Alexis Maribao,John Albert Bongon and the New edition is Jay R Sumagang,all this Are Caloocan's best and finest.ChessTrainor

Status of my Champions Kids and Chess Scholars,

Joymee rating increase,from 1766 to 1797,Gold Medalist and Pobcaran District Chess Champion 2008,awaiting for The Division meet as i heard will be on Oct 27,2008(A five day event) much earlier as i anticipated.

Bryan is now a Board 5 Gold Medalist(Now a seeded player) 6.5/8 an 81.3% performance rating and University of the East got Second place as a team(Silver).An Improvement from last year performance as third(Bronze).

Mylen was plague with sickness and manage to play 1 game which she won.Also part of the UE junior Team as Silver.

Ma.Essah is now Gold Medalist and Aromar District Chess champion this is her Second District chess champion title.Essah will be playing in the Elementary for the Division meet while Joymee in the high School Level.All is on in October 27,2008.

Rayjohn got third place again,Bronze Medalist Aromar District and will await if bd.1 and 2 could not make it,He is the alternate player.Last year bd 2 did not make it because of technical problem and rayjohn won the Division Meet and representative Caloocan in the Regional Tournament which is the NCR Palaro 2007-2008.

Pio Kit Ibanez have not perform well in the College Men Chess Division,But all his Academics(Electrical Engineering Course) are up!He was overwhelm with his studies and balance must be made in order to maintain his Chess Scholarship.He is correcting his mistake now and just yesterday I accompanied him in a chess game in Lerma,Maypajo,Caloocan for Chess Practice with Veteran players.His long game score 2.5/3.with the same person,their first game was a draw and he won the next two games.

Bad!News!!! for our opponents in the Elementary Girls Division,But Good News For us!We were very stingy,We did not give them any medal .We got a broom and sweep the awards,Gold(1st) Maria Essah Theresa Cortes<Aromar District>,Silver(2nd)Melanie L.Gabion(sister) of my ChessScholar#1<Aromar District>,Bronze(3rd)Jean Paula Dela Cruz<Aromar District>So all of my Girls will go to the Regional Level which is the NCR Palaro slated tentatively on Feb 16,2009 and The Cities of Pasig and San Juan will be the host.The Palarong Pambansa will be in Tacloban ,Leyte,no definite date yet.This is the National Level!Now we are ready for our Training Schedule.ChessTrainor.
