    @blais: go through each game with a chess set or software program. Ask youself why each move was made, even the bad ones.

    ill read the books and study but i can afford the lessons how should i go about this do i take a 5- dollar lesson and then read a book or read a book and then take a fifty dollar lesson and how fast can an old man like me improve. I am a serious customer .

    Hey eric, Check out my new coach spot I did with "cross-promotion of Schillerism's". It is under TeamRybka. I hope you can tell me if it is IM,GM or what. Might be overkill, but weeds out the slackers no less. lol I'm focusing on Grad school prep now, and fall semester. I did a "blurb" for CA 11 and aquarium too, so hope people get some resources too.
