hi i am in the 1100 so ,i dont know if i am in the target range but i know the basic rules about chess but not good strategy i just memorise other people and try to use that

You can do everything. There is many time limits. Click on your home and on Live or Online Chess, if you want a turn-based(correspondence) game or if you want live time controls. Try to create a challenge, or look for some open. You can easily find beginners by the rating. When you look for a challenge, or when you post one, you can decide the range of elo you want to play (if you want to play a beginner, you should look for somebody around 1000-1400. If you want to request to be white, you can also select it when creating a game, although I don't really understand why you don't like black :) I hope it helps!

What is the time limits.  How do I find other beginners.  Can I request to be white?
