About Me:

My name is Tian. I'm a college student and USCF expert class chess player. I've taught beginners and lower rated players in school chess club since I was 16. My current target student are players rated between unrated up to USCF 1800. I offer an 1 hour free sample lesson to any serious applicant (no request of prepaid fee).

It took me less than 3 years in total to improve my USCF rating from 1200+ to over 2000 and I'm still on my fast improving way. My coaching aims at designing complete improving methods for my students and help them to quickly become better and better in chess as well, and I'll always improve myself as a better player and coach along with my students.

    Hello!

I've had 6 hours sessions with Lui , she is very patient , informative and always on time! clearly she has alot of knowledge of the game and knows how to teach in a clear way so you , as the student can understand and improve.

I asked for PGN's of openings I was interested and I got them to review by myself and then we reviewd them together , understanding the theory and reason behind any move.

I guess I can recommend Lui 100% for anyone looking for interesting , fun and practical lessons which help you improve.
