About Me:

I have been actively coaching students since 2005. I am the author of the renowned ReViewing Chess (TM) book series (with a total of 10 books in the Top 100 Best Selling Kindle Chess Books) and am currently working on a project called Master Your Chess Memory. As a sociologist, I understand the problems life presents in studying chess and I am proud to help you overcome those problems. My lessons do not just help you become a better chess player -- they teach you how to apply chess to your life so that checkmate is tangible!

To see some interesting tournament games of mine, search for me in Chessbase or look here.

Lessons are offered in English via Skype/Chess.com. Due to a rise in transportation costs, services offered in person will have a $15 surcharge.

Past Achievements

Most of my chess acheivements up to this point were scholastic, including my 3 state titles however I did place 5th in the U.S. Chess Federation’s 2006 Chess Live Grand Prix out of more than 500 players. I have just recently gratuated from Northeastern University where I wrote my senior thesis entitled Chess: The Preface to a Technical Resource for Scoiology.
