Could you train me? I really like to learn some good chess! My rating is 1689 but I had a break for 3 years without chess, so i dont play as good as my rating says, my goal is minimum 2100!

Mio is a great coach. He's friendly, optimistic, understanding and he's not a cookie-cutter coach who gives you a canned lesson. He looks at your games and helps you assess your strengths and weaknesses and builds a learning plan to suit you based on your needs.

He is a great analyst and he helps you progress through every stage of the game. I really don't know how many openings he knows...but he knows a lot, and many of his students have had great successes by studying with him.

I have been playing chess for 3 years and my online slow game rating is now 2000 thanks to Mio's coaching.

J'ai eu une periode ou j'ai stagné entre 1800 et 1900. Et quand j'ai commencé les cours avec Mio j'ai depassé facilement les 1900 en prenant plus de 80 points en seulement deux tournois!! Merci Mio!

Great Coach!. Since i started the lessons, i increased my ELO in more of 130 points, with results of 18,5 points of 21 slow games. Customize the opening repertoire according to your style of play. Mio has found for me, the best lines. In addition, he has level of GM!!.

Hi guys! I have been studying with mio for 3 months ( i am still studying with him) and i have improve aaa loooot! Before i started with him my opening/positional knowledge was simply 0, and now i have a good opening repertoire and a better positional understanding. I have improve my rating in all internet servers in more than 300 points and with his lines i have beat a lot of FMs and IMs, and drawed several GMs. Mio is simply 1 of the best coachs i have ever seen and i am very happy of having him like my personal trainer.  I dont waste my time with boring books, Mio is the book :P!!!!!!

Mio is one of the few teachers around, who is simply B.R.I.L.L.I.A.N.T!!! I have learnt so much from him. That includes a lot of things, and within just a few lessons I have gone up 180 ELO which doesn't sound much but I have only done 4 lessons!!!

Every day I am looking forward to my next lesson! He keeps me focused and on my toes with homework!

He is a nice guy and in my honest opinion a good coach. He is not running a static chess teaching programm, but rather he looked wich openings suit my style, he identified my weaknesses and worked with me to eliminate them in his lessons.

His English is very good and I never hat problems to understand his explanations.

i used to be 130-140 ECF when i started lessons with Mio. which if u know the ECF grades is below average.

since then i played in the Manchester open i ended up with 4/5 - 2nd place with performance of 212 which nearly an IM level !!!!!!!!!

last week i played in a rapidplay tourney and i won out right with 5.5/6 with performance close to 190 !!!

and i am not going to give Mio most of the credit here, i am actually going to give him all of it :)
