About Me:
After moves and checkmate, then what?
From this point a player gets used to losses and gains. Losses and gains are the results of mistakes and punishing moves.
The approach to chess thereon is that of a game of mistakes and its punishing replies. This is most evident in tactics.
Tactics come in when a mistake is made. Games can continue without mistakes. But still each move made gives up control of a square or a set of squares and if those squares are no longer guarded, then the weakness may be of use to the opposite side at some point of time.
It is in such weaknesses that strategy comes in. Strategic moves are the moves that are played when tactics have taken a back seat due to no evident mistakes.
Learn the game of Tactics and Strategy.
