It is called PC Chess club because we use a PC a lot for database work and engine analysis. We use "chessbase" 24/7 along with 500 chess "engines" and "chess assistant", and "Deep Rybka Aquarium", with "chess openings wizard pro", and the special endgame tool and program called "Freezer" from shredderchess.com(but some type shredder.com and google freezer) and scid, and chess position trainer, and chessmaster (blindfold training). You can google "freezer endgame shredder" as there are many ways to find it. "freezer is an amazing endgame tool to generate "on the fly" tablebases and get a detailed list of all positions and moves with mate or win of material.

We are here to assist GM Training for those who want to oneday be a GM. We use testing software from Russia. Check it out for convekta software on chessok.com, and see why so many people prefer convekta software for serious study and training, along with professional assistance for tournament preparation. It is used by the Russian national chess team and all GM's over 2700, as well as many player first category and many USCF master (NM, FM, IM).

WE are told by everyone that we offer the best in study and training, along with rating jumps of 500-1,000 points possible. Everyone says we are the name to go to, the go to guy for training and study, drills and tournament prep.

We don't try to be everything to everyone. We do one thing extrordinarily well....Make you a GM. We focus on classes, lectures, training, workshops, seminars, clinics, tests, exams, Q/A, creative brainstorming and innovation, podcasts, tutorials, certifications, massive rating jumps, making GM "norms", breaking 2700 FIDE elo, online and distance learning, CBT (computer based training), constant input and feedback, constantly adding the newest and best selections of books...cd...dvd...and more, adding the newest NIC and informants and chessbase magazine, customizing everything to and for each individual as opposed to a one size fits all cookie cutter rubber stamp approach where they run you through like a factory assembly line and you pray and hope you learn something anything at all, Give you more time and attention until you have an "I got it" moment, show you TLC and explain it 10 or 20 or 50 or 100 different times and or ways...just to make sure you got it and feel like we care about your progress, to make sure you achieve the base to build on and skill sets to achieve any rating in chess even 2800, to make sure you never have limits again, this and much much more !!

WE can help anyone from a person who never played and does not know anything about chess...not even the names of pieces or how to set up a board...all the way to challenger for the world championship or a GM trying to break 2800 FIDE elo.

Our specialty is "GM TRAINING" for those who are GM or curious to what a GM does for training and tournament prep, how they approach study or how and what they drill, to how they use the databases and engines differently than 99% of other lower rated players, in other words....the closest thing to training under a GM or being in a GM camp to see the real inner workings of how they win and draw against near impossible odds. We walk you through it all...from the ground up if need be, to let you decide what level you want to be rated and what title (NM, FM, IM, GM, etc) you want as your ultimate goal, including world champion. We show you how to go it solo if need be.

One of my main specialties is blindfold chess with 20-24 boards for a blindfold simul. My strengths are calculation and visualization...a natural benefit of blindfold training. My strongest areas are calculation of 40-60 ply or 20-30 moves ahead in all phases of game from opening middlegame or endings...meaning I can see ahead 30 moves both sides in any opening or middlegame or endgame with 5-10 multiple branch points...sort of like a chess version of the Nicholas Cage movie "Next"  or the Travolta movie "Phenomenom" ("we're not so disconnected, lol"). Everyone says my strengths are tactics and combos...positional play...planning and strategy....Opening theory and TN...endgame mastery and endgame repertoire development....middlegame skills... along with positional compensation for sacrifices....as well as evaluation and assesment or intuition for correct moves that is on a scale near equal but uncanny and about equal to fritz 11 or Deep Rybka 2 about 99% of the time I evaluate a position or calculate ahead....yet only 75% of the time equal to Deep Rybka 3 or fritz 12 and 50% of the time equal to Deep Rybka 4 or Deep Fritz 12. I have played Deep Rybka 3 to a draw on full strength and no handicaps...meaning I can draw against Deep Rybka 3 under tournament conditions and time controls of G/5 to G/15 but not yet at G/60...but working and hoping. I have beaten plain Rybka 2  a total of 6-0 six games in a row. I do not consider myself a strong player (by my goals and standards) perhaps humble enough to say I am striving to break 2750 and beat Deep Rybka 4 a total of 6-0 and then try to break 2750 in the fastest time ever with least amount of tournaments ever in chess history.

I was the top 5% in the nation and got full academic scholarship for college, and am working toward completing an MBA, to start a non profit chess business and be CEO, as well as start multiple other (for profit) businesses.

I focus on school and college futures more than chess with kids, so they have a solid future and safety net to fall back on...called education. Dreams are great, but a solid future is better. I can work with chess kids as young as 1 yr old !!

I can work with adults old as 110 yrs old, and everyone from 1-110. I can work with those who will be or are world champion on down to casual players who only play for fun and just like to play. Lessons and coaching, as well as study and training, along with classes, lectures, clinics, workshops, podcasts, tutorials, vlogs, blogs, exclusive members only access sites, seminars, webinars, certifications, and much more available for individual and groups, both in person and online !

Hebrews 13:5 and 11:1 are good to know, and remember God helps those who help themselves. It doesn't magically fall out of the sky and you wake up one day with GM title, rating of 2800 FIDE, world champion, and tons of elite super GM chess skills and way advanced chess skills along with "skill sets". He sometimes, like in medicine, works through others. You can be taught by dead players also...through annotated games of theirs. You can read life and games of Mikhail Tal and learn a lot from Tal explaining notes to games, moves, plans, etc. You can watch Kasparov on chessbase dvds and it is like a super GM in your home for one on one lessons or coaching, or anywhere you have a computer. It is like having them as Guest lecturer or guest speaker for a lecture at a chess club meeting, almost the same as a private seminar. So say Kasparov, Anand, chessbase, and the many authors who did chessbase dvds, both IM and GM's.

We are told that we offer way more than a local club named joplin chess club. Everyone says we have tons more dvd, cd, books, software, constantly adding new inventory in stock weekly and daily !! Everyone tells us we supply it all and save players money. Many people tell us we care more about progress and take more time to go way more in depth as well as far more research, thus saving you time with timely updates and far more bigger databases as well as nearly 200,000 annotated games for your benefit. Everyone tells us we do the best summary, thus saving you time again.

They say we seem to take as long as it takes to make sure you get those goals reached, similar to "no child left behind....for any reason...EVERRRRR", but more like "no player left behind", regardless of age or ability. They all say we seem to be far better organized and able to rapidly change subjects in chess and bounce around to liven it up and do a fast paced session if need be, unlike joplin chess club which people tell us moves at the speed of "watching paint dry" lol. Oh boy, big fun there huh (watching paint dry), perhaps explaining why people say joplin chess club sessions for training or study would make a garden snail speed look like an air force fighter jet compared to how long it takes them to get to the point !

I heard people say the snail would be like Nascar, compared to joplin chess club being like "watching the paint dry" or, falling asleep waiting for them to figure it out. I was told joplin chess club members have a lower rating than U10 age group, asking the question .... are you smarter than a fifth grader. The TD martin stahl is rated USCF U6 age group according to the USCF site to look up a player and rating.

Two strong players are the exception to the club, as both are humble and good class players who are named Daniel Todd and Joel Stebbins.

The highest rated player in joplin chess club is less than the U10 age group, thus we feel they may need to postpone any coaching ideas and instead focus on chess skills and chess skill-sets development or aquiring some to start with.

We use academic testing and base coaching on the fact I have gottten draws facing Deep Rybka 3 and beaten fritz 11 full strength as well as scored 2590 on over 100 chess exams, quizzes, and tests, thus eliminating any "random coincidence", as 100 tests can't be a "chance score" when the many GM who designed the tests are quite expert in scoring tests.

Pandolfini solataire test allow all players a standardized test. You all take the same test and pinpoint wrong or right answers. This means if you get the same answers, you have equal (or lacking, lol) abilities. You can also measure skill and knowledge by matching moves against an engine, seeing how good the engine thinks your choice is/was. You can try to see how long until your move, combo, line, etc shows up.  These are common ways to measure expertise between players.

You can see how much a player understands also, using these methods. If you index the results in chessbase, you can also have it give a detailed breakdown on all aspects of the game, thus pinpointing where a student has strong and weak spots.

Now you know why we use the database 24/7 and have chessbase, chess assistant, Deep Rybka Aquarium, chess openings wizard pro, freezer, chess master, in addition to free software, all the better to prove we go the extra mile, offer more, save you time and money, and focus on making sure you have way more success, more often and faster and easier than ever.

see you soon, best wishes, TeamRybka
