Kvetka is nice and small program for game analysis (chess GUI). Right now it can only be used for analysis (no playing against engine). It's strong point is ability to properly separate moves and variations from comments when you copy/paste games from different web pages.  It uses UCI protocol, so you can use any UCI chess engine. Fruit 2.3.1 engine is included in original package, but I strongly suggest that you use Rybka 2.2 as analysis engine as it is much stronger than Fruit 2.3.1. (You can dowload Rybka 2.2 engine at: http://www.rybkachess.com/free/Rybka22n2.zip)

Because empirical data says so... Meaning that in many games between Fruit 2.3.1 and Rybka 2.2, Rybka won more games (Rybka 2.2 has got about 100 points higher ELO rating...)

How do you use the plugins?

The help page is in Russian ( & sadly I do not know or speak Russian!).

Just create a folder with the name "plugins". Then copy any plugin into this folder to be able to use it.
