This code is a work in progress and should be considered as a rough beta... It allows the user to make moves in his or her online chess games at Chess.com.

While there is currently no chess.com app, there is a 3rd party client app for Windows Phone 7 that is currently in beta test.

I think it' s just a short time before we get a working client in the market. Thanks to the programmer(s) working on this. I'd pay 1.99 or maybe even 2.99 for a good polished client like the one for IOS.

@alabar
It will work for a Windows 7 smartphone, not for Android/iPhone/Blackberry or other smartphones.

Since this is provided as source code you need to compile it with Visual Studio and then sideload the package. Therefore you either need a developer-unlocked windows phone or a phone unlocked using Chevron Labs.
So: this really is at the moment only for the very tech savvy (if you don't know what XAP files or developer unlocked phones are you most likely wouldn't want to bother installing ;-)
Once installed this is a VERY basic client for making moves in your existing online games. It get's the job done but it is neither pretty nor has it any extra functions at the moment. That said: thanks to the developer for providing it - I do use it regulary and it works just fine. Really hope to see it polished up and available in the Windows Phone marketplace soon.
