Description:

i had a request to be able to separate a pgn dbase containing many games into single game per file.

the new files will be stored in the folder containing the prog. files will be named gamexxxx.pgn where xxxx increments from 0000 to 9999 so handling 10,000 games.

if you need to handle more games then i can patch the prog very easily.

Great tool! Perfect for what I needed done. Thanks a bunch :)

The only problem is that if you have two databases that you split one after the other the files will be overwritten-- no biggy, just make sure to move the games to a different directory before splitting a new database ;p

yes there is. Also one to filter pgn files from a dbase by selectable criteria. Both are buried somewhere here in the download area. There is a link to them from one of my blog entries.
