  Yes there is also a version on mac. The version on the iPod is so strong that it can beat even fruit 2.3.1.

  Stockfish is a great open source engine. It's available for all linux distros as well as windows (I don't know  about Mac) and, there is also an iPod \ iPhone \ iPad app with wich you can play Stockfish, enter into analysis mode...
