i spent a long time playing various syxtems against the sicilain,if you are a positional player pick closed sicilian and if tactical,morra gambit is the right choice for you.

I found this gambit to be a great club level and intermediate level stratagy that can be used with moderate success. The secret to this gambit is not pure memorization of the gambit's moves because smarter players will be able to spot your seven move free queen by the time you get to move 4, two if they have seen it before. But I am not a great player, I strive to be one but I found this to be great against people who always used sicillian. (I hope I spelled that right)
