One cannot know enough about endings.  this book is a 'must have' for the serious student.  about once every 3 years, pick it up and work through all the diagrams.  No chess set needed.  visualize the lines.

I pick this book up when I have about 5 minutes or so to kill.  This book is pretty easy to read and understand.  You do not need a chess board in front of you when reading this book, which is nice.

There is one right choice and one wrong one (usually the title of the puzzle gives it away anyway).  However, this book has still enlightened me to think about the position deeply and think about the oppositions next move.  I would say that is strongest point of this book.  Most of the blunder choices cause the opposition to win a piece or checkmate.

This book is not for people just starting out at chess.  I would say that this book most benefits people that have been studying around 3-6 months intensely and have all the basic strategies, tatics, and moves down pat.

I did not give this book 5 stars because I thought it had room for improvement.  I believe this is still a must-have for the chess player's collection.  It is one of the better puzzle books out there.  It will keep you occupied for hours.
