Description:

In Chess Master vs. Chess Amateur, 25 chess games between master and amateur were chosen, arranged, and annotated to help amateurs learn how to avoid a variety of weak strategic and tactical moves and improve their games.

Selected, by World Chess Champion Max Euwe and by Walter Meiden, a typical amateur player, the games point out graphically how the chess master takes advantage of characteristic errors of the amateur.

Dr. Max Euwes helpful and informative commentary on each contest consists of a discussion of significant moves in the game, an analysis of the opening used, and explanations of important concepts as they arise. He also details tactics and variations that might have been used as alternatives.

The result is an indispensable aid for amateurs seeking to raise the quality of their games... but it is also a book that can be read with profit by chess players of every level of expertise.

I have this book for long time ago. It is a collection of very good commented games where you can see how the master take adventage of the amateur play. It is very well written and you will learn lot of thinks from this book. It is aim more for the club player than for the advanced player. Anyway everybody will love this book, as I do.
