I have the older version with round buttons and only one user customized setting (superset). The newer model with square buttons and four supersets is pictured above. According to the manuals everything else is pretty much the same. This has been a fabulous clock. Unlike some clock brands, both minutes and seconds are always displayed. The buttons are also very quiet compared to most other clocks. Small and compact it fits in all chess carry cases. Has every feature needed for chess, go, or Scrabble®. Though, a reading of the manual is required to set it, it only has a four page manual. So that should tell you how easy it is to set up, compared to that other popular high end chess clock brand. (The one originally designed as a Scrabble® clock w/ a 48 page manual!) And this one is far more attractive looking. The preset codes are not printed on the bottom of the clock like the ones with plastic shells. So keep a copy of the manual with your chess gear. However, this is the easiest full featured digital clock to use, bar none. Runs for what seems like ever on one small inexpensive button battery. It's American made too.
