I ordered this set from Wholesale Chess. It was packaged quite well, and arrived in a very timely fashion. The pieces feel substantial in play and certainly add to the enjoyment level of playing. The weighting is solid and certainly doesn't rattle. The pieces, which are clearly manufactured to high quality standards, are pleasant to look at and should last for quite some time. While somewhat more expensive than other quality, plastic chessmen, you can certainly see and feel where the money went. Overall this set was a good investment that will be enjoyed for many, many years to come.

The crown on the King is rather tiny and though the Knight is detailed, it is slightly out of portioned in the middle. Other than – pretty solid set. No gloss, heavy and suited for the 2.25’ vinyl boards.
