With a nice look and a thick felt base, these pieces stand out as an attractive yet affordable tournament quality chess set. All of the peices are triple-weighted making them great for tournament and speed play. The chess pieces are a nice size with a 3 5/8" tall King with a 1 ½" base. My favorite by far , I always keep coming back to this set. I like the pawns and the rooks. Very solid set , with a good feel to it.
