Quality Vinyl Chessboard (20")

  • Board Size: 20" x 20"
  • Square Size: 2 ΒΌ"
  • Material: Vinyl
Description:

Our Quality Chessboards are the highest quality vinyl chess boards available. Not only can these boards roll up and unroll easily for convenient storage, but they also resist tears, spills, and the most demanding abuse. Each board features 2 ¼" squares to meet chess tournament standards. Our carefully chosen colors provide maximum contrast and visibility, yet are smooth enough not to distract players like some other brightly colored boards can. Algebraic notation surrounds the entire board and is clearly legible from all sides.

  • Tournament standard chess board
  • Board measures 20" by 20"
  • 2 ¼" squares
  • Clear and legible algebraic notation

Attention: All Quality Boards are now offered in a Mate Finish. We heard your suggestions and delivered! The boards are exactly the same, except the glossy finish has been replaced with a Mate Finish. Enjoy!

I got 2 of these: a blue and a green. They’re affordable & durable & practical.

I have only replaced vinyl boards for 2 reasons: color and square size. These things LAST! If you don't own a vinyl board for casual and tournament play, GET ONE. But DO NOT get the mouse pad boards. The pieces don't glide over them - they stick.

I have a "fancy" wooden board at home, but I choose to use one of these instead.  I like the plain aspect of it, and it helps to get used to this board for when I play in tournaments.  I have another one that I take to tournaments, and when you unroll it, it stays unrolled unlike some cheaper vinyl boards.
