Format: 5 Round Swiss System
Byes: 1 Half Point Bye available any round. Rounds 4&5 must declare before start of Round 3.
Time Control: 35/90 + SD1 (2 day Round 1 G90)
Entry Fee: $65 on or before August 13. $80 after August 13 or on site.
Free Entry: USCF 2200 or higher. Free entries deduct $65 from winnings.
Re-Entries: $25
Sections: Open Section, U1800, U1400
Prizes: $4000 Prize Pool based on 70 participants. $2000 guaranteed, prizes will scale with attendance. 1st Place: Open- $800, U1800-$750, U1400-$750. 2nd Place: Open-$350, U1800-$320, U1400 $320. 3rd Place: Open-$150, U1800-$125, U1400-$125. Under Prizes: Open Section, Best U2000-$100. U1800, Best U1600-$100. U1400 Section, Best U1200-$100.

Take I-26 towards Columbia. Take exit 102A Lake Murray Blvd towards Irmo. Turn left at the first traffic light onto Columbiana Drive. Hotel is 1 mile on the left.
From Charlotte:
Take I-77 towards Columbia. Follow the signs to I-20 towards Augusta. Take I-26 towards Spartanburg. Exit at 103 Harbison blvd. Continue right off the exit and merge into traffic. Turn right at the 4th traffic light onto Columbiana Drive. The hotel is 1 mile on the right.
From Charleston:
