6TH DR. JOSE P. LEVISTE SR. INTER-SCHOOL CHESS FESTIVAL ‘10 TITLE: 6TH Dr. Jose P. Leviste Sr. (HS ’33, AA ’35), Inter-School Chess Festival SUB-INFO: A project of the Ateneo Grade School, High School and Collegiate Chess Teams under the guidance of IM Idelfonso Datu. PARTICIPATION PARAMETERS: open to all bona fide grade school, high school, and college students who are not titled players. DATE: November 7, 2010 VENUE: Ateneo Grade School Cafeteria, Ateneo De Manila University, Katipunan Ave., Quezon City TIME CONTROL: The three-division tournament will employ a six-round Swiss System tournament play with an active time control of 25 minutes per player. FIDE Laws of Chess will be employed by the tournament. PRIZES: Top four places per division shall be awarded: College Overall Ranking Champion 2nd Place 3rd Place 4th Place Php 5,000.00 + Trohpy Php 3,000.00 + Trophy Php 2,000.00 + Trophy Php 1,000.00 + Trophy HS Overall Ranking Php 4,000.00 + Trohpy Php 2,000.00 + Trophy Php 1,000.00 + Trophy Php 500.00 + Trophy GS Overall Ranking Php 4,000.00 + Trohpy Php 2,000.00 + Trophy Php 1,000.00 + Trophy Php 500.00 + Trophy Special Categories Top Grade 1 Top Grade 2 Php 500.00 + Medal Php 500.00 + Medal REGISTRATION FEE: P 300.00 per person on November 7, 2010, only.
