7TH NAPCA TRAINER AND COACHES SEMINAR

SET 28-29 FEBRUARY IN MANILA

Registration is going for the 7th NAPCA TRAINER AND COACHES SEMINAR on March 28 & 29, 2009 at the seminar room 7th Flr., Sports and Cultural Center Manila, Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) 1221 Gen. Luna St., Ermita, Manila (Near U.N. Avenue/Taft Avenue LRT station). The seminar is organized by the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA) in cooperation with Emilio Aguinaldo College.

The program aims to understand the proper way of teaching chess to their students.  Invitation  opens to the representatives of Sports Department of Cities and Municipalities, Chess Clubs, Schools and any Organization.

Seminar facilitator is FIDE ARBITER & FIDE INSTRUCTOR LAWYER ROMMEL  TACORDA.

Among the topics that will be learned are Chess History, Levels of Training, Terminologies, Principles of Opening Strategy, Checkmating patterns, Playing Strength Assessment, Tactics, and many others.
