We will be doing another Christmas Blitz this year so circle that day on your calendar. Here's the current info:
1. It will be unrated so anyone can play. Mainly USCF ratings will be used for seeding but backups like chess.com, ICC, etc will be accepted and modified somewhat.
2. 5 double rounds Swiss. You will play the same opponent twice, once in each color. Total is 10 games.
3. It's Christmas! Bring cookies, punch/soda, etc
4. Low charge. Carver Center has their usual $2 but I'm thinking of funding a plaque of sorts so stay tuned. I'll definitely be handing medals out.
5. Who knows? Maybe booby prizes will be given.. to the one with losing the King the most times because he/she couldn't see check!
