For folks in the Madison, WI area.
I know it's late notice but it sounds like there's still room for more players. Sounds like a great way to get started playing OTB tournament chess. It'll be my first time!
The Madison Rated Beginner Open (RBO) chess
tournament is open to all players with official US
Chess Federation (USCF) ratings under 1200 and
to all unrated players (those who have never played
a rated tournament before). Current USCF
membership is required for all entrants.
