MIAMI SUMMER CHESS CAMP

Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24, 2009

Full day: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm ------Half Day: 9:00 a.m. to Noon

 

FEATURING NATIONAL MASTER ERNESTO ALVAREZ, CHIEF INSTRUCTOR

 

Two camps in one:  One camp will be for youth ages 5-16, and another for adults, ages 17 to 150

Attention parents: Don't let the kids learn it all and have all the fun, enroll as an adult in an adjacent but separate group!  Beginning, intermediate and advanced chess players all welcome.  This will be an intensive chess training camp, but a lot of fun is in store, too! The chess camper will achieve a dramatic improvement in chess skills, regardless of current abilities. Each day will have competitive chess events, entertaining instruction, outdoor and other fun activities. Prizes and t-shirts awarded to all campers. Bring your own lunch, except for the last day (Pizza party and awards on Friday). Soft drinks/snacks will be available for nominal purchase.

Registration Fees for both the youth and adult camps:

Full Day: 9 am to 4pm                        $360

Half Day: 9am to Noon                       $225
