2009 UF Spring Chess Championship

The tournament is open to all players, all ages, not just UF students. The tournament will be rated by the United States Chess Federation (USCF), USCF membership is required. Three sections: Open, U1600, U1200

4 rounds at Game 60; Schedule: Rounds at 10am, 12 pm, 2pm and 4pm, late registration: 9am-9:45

Prizes for Open division
 $200 for 1st
 $100 for 2nd
 $50 for 3rd
 $100 for highest placing player with a rating of under 1800
 $50 for second highest placing player with a rating of under 1800

Prizes for under 1600 division
 $100 for 1st
 $50 for 2nd

Prizes for U1200 division
 $50 for 1st place                 
 trophy for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places

Do I need to be a USCF member to play?  And what is the entry fee?

Yuppers, you need to be a USCF member.

Open $40

U1600 $30

U1200 $25
